MINISTER OF EDUCATION / CAREER DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATOR / EDUCATOR / AUTHOR

is a retired educator working for 24 years in the New York City Public School System devising educational and performing arts programs for middle school students.  Her most noted accolades are producing plays entitled "The Sneaker" an urban rendition of Cinderella and "Back in the Days" - The Sounds of Motown".

Alicia relocated to the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania and pursued her masters in Educational Administration at The Univerity of Scranton and completed her doctorate coursework at East Stroudsburg University where she is working on her dissertation research in The Diffusion of Innovation in Education. During this time, she became the founder of Rainey Roo Productions where she hosted Red Carpet events conducting interviews with Derrick Simmons, actor/producer of many Hollywood movies and Tyler Perry's stuntman; Rhonda Ross, daughter of Diana Ross and Berry Gordy and Sean Nelson, actor from The Gospel, The Wood.  She also starred in the 2006 Tiffany Gospel Award Winning Best Off-Broadway Gospel Play “Freed”. 

Her advocacy for building communities began in 2015, where she became one of the founders of The Monroe County Image Awards of PA in which community leaders are applauded every year for their outstanding service by making the Poconos a place one is proud to call home.  This began her advocacy for building communities in helping others "Find Their Passion".  In that same year, she became the Education Director of the MTV award winning Best Station in the Nation, 90.3 WESS FM radio and was also awarded as Advocate for a Better America at the 2016 Pocono Mountains Film Festival. 

Upon the completion of her doctorate coursework, Alicia moved to Farmington, New Mexico and became the Director of  Quality Improvement and Career Center at San Juan College.  She was appointed as a commissioner for the City of Farmington's Community Relations and a member of the Mayor's Minority Round-table.  In 2017, she was awarded "Outstanding Service" by the State of New Mexico's Office of African American Affairs for her works as the Founding Advisor of The First African American Club on the campus of San Juan College. Alicia, also authored a weekly devotional inspirational book "The Power of P-M-S (Praise-Meditation-Study) sharing her personal testimonies as she travels on the path to her God-given destination.

Currently, she resides in Phoenix, Arizona where she directs Career Education Planning Services at Phoenix College and is the Executive Producer for an upcoming family Inspiration radio show "Four Corner Prayz"

Her fondest feat is the partnership with her husband, Rev. PK, as Pastors of A New Life Ministry, Inc and being the proud mother of son Ahrayalab Simon and daughter Alema Isabelle.
